Love Memories Support Group
A support group "Love Memories" has been organized in Fentress County
to help those who have lost a loved one and need support through their
grief.
The group was started after the tragic death of Bulah Hinds' son, Joe,
and Evelyn Stephens’ son, Jeffery Bradley. Joe died from a heart
attack on October 11, 1998, at the age of 27. Jeffery was killed in a car
accident four months later on March 8, 1999, at the age of 34.
After our tragedies, we talked often and decided to start a support
group to help others like ourselves. Our group started October 18, 1999.
We have a speaker who speaks on different topics about grief as well as
open discussions. You can feel free to ask questions to help in your
particular need. If you have lost a loved one, we would be happy for
you to meet with us. It helps to be with others who know your feelings.
We meet the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Fentress
County Library in Jamestown, TN.
